RDA engagements most often involve one or more of the disciplines illustrated in the graphic. Bob’s extensive consulting experience, coupled with formal engineering and management science education, has been seasoned in many client settings. He tailors the approach and selects the methodologies for each client from a broad set of options. However, most recent engagements have centered around three kinds of solutions (undergirded by Bob’s project management skills). These solution sets are treated on subsequent pages.
The “solution groupings” are not mutually exclusive. To some degree process innovation and improvement can apply to a wide variety of needs from improving productivity, expediting ED care, and streamlining revenue cycle operations to reducing supply chain costs. Similarly performance management applies to any resource – not just to labor (although FTE may represent over 50% of total expense). However, each set of disciplines has central themes.
Finally we are not focusing on project leadership as a consulting solution – rather it is the skill set that Bob employs on any engagement. Project management is delineated in the portfolio of services because it may become central to coaching client executives who want training and guidance in executing internal projects.
